Join us this summer for a week-long adventure aboard a 35-55 ft sailing yacht on the Chesapeake Bay!
We offer a 6-day camp, or a *Newly* Added 8-day adventure!
The Chesapeake Bay is a perfect place to cruise on a yacht. It is protected from ocean swells but has great summer winds, and there are waterfront towns to visit, protected anchorages, and sandy beaches!
These camps enable young people to have a unique adventure that is only possible with a moving ‘camp’.
- Chart courses & take the helm
- Learn leadership skills and work together as a crew
- Explore ports and experience maritime history first-hand
- Swimming, paddleboarding, and tubing
- Prepare meals in the galley
- Catch blue crabs & Rockfish

The same great Live Aboard Cruising camp, now offered in the Bahamas! Adventure and fun in the sun await as campers sail and explore beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters.
Campers fly in Sunday, March 17th (evening) and fly out Saturday, March 23th (morning). Campers will fly to a designated airport in FL and fly over as a group to the Bahamas with a PHLAS Staff member and Captain to ensure safe and smooth entry into the Bahamas *Airfare is not included
- Learn leadership skills and work together as a crew
- Sail with local Bahamian youth
- Explore multiple islands in Abaco, Bahamas such as Manjack, Green Turtle Kay, Hopetown and more!
- Snorkel on protected reefs
- Feed Stingrays, Dive for Lobsters, and pet sea turtles!
